Sometimes we want to keep track of all our activities day by day. These can be ideas, plans, notes, thoughts or any similar writing. For that we can use a note-taking app. There are plenty of good ones you can use on your computer.
Some of the most well-known are Evernote, Microsoft’s OneNote, CintaNotes and many others. However, most of the note-taking apps don’t have a calendar integrated into them, so it is not possible to track things by day.
We’ve found one that can do exactly that. It’s called RedNotebook and it is a completely free, OpenSource software for keeping a modern journal.
Once you start it, you are presented with a calendar, and for each day you can enter notes. Notes can consist of formatted text, images, links, files, and much more.
Everything is saved automatically while you type.
Each note can be marked with a tag, and all tags are generated and visible automatically from the menu. You have to mark each tag with this sign #.
Finally, all notes can be exported into PDF. Go to Journal – Export, and choose which format you want the diary exported to. Available formats are PDF, LaTex, HTML and plain text.
Don’t worry about converting your PDF back to Word or any other format. Cometdocs file converter will take care of that easily.
