How to Create Scanned PDFs with your Phone

Handling your business on the go is necessary in today’s mobile world. One of the tools we often need in business is a scanner, but scanners are usually placed in the office and not always available.

That can be a problem in some situations, especially if you are working outside of the office regularly and find yourself in a situation in which you need something scanned and sent out urgently.

CamScanner is available for Android. It can digitalize any type of document into PDF or image formats.  After taking a picture, you can adjust its borders and crop it. After that, click on scan, and in matter of seconds a scanned PDF is ready and you can share it via email, Facebook and numerous other channels. You can also email it to yourself.  The quality of the scanned document is the same as from a scanner.

2. ScantoPDF 

Scan to PDF Free is an android app that is known as being one of the easiest to use and fastest ways to scan images on the go. It scans and converts your documents to PDF, after which you can share them via mail or by uploading them to Google Docs. The size options for your PDF are also plentiful.

3. DocScan

Doc Scan is another very convenient solution for scanning. It is an iPhone app that auto-detects document edges from a picture, corrects perspective distortion, remove shadows, and brighten the scan up in order to give you the best possible quality. It also has a built-in PDF viewer that allows you to see your newly created PDF without having to use another app. You can email the PDF out as a PDF, JPG or as a ZIP file.

4. Turboscan

Turboscan is another iPhone app that allows you to quickly scan your documents and store or email them as multipage PDF or JPEG files. The app also prides itself on giving you a perfect image and makes sure to crop the image perfectly and it even auto-detects a lack or abundance of light and adjusts the image according in order to achieve optimal viewing results.
