and Ubuntu (driver management). The distribution is designed for use at school, home and work as it contains applications for common daily tasks, such as time management, office work or media playback.

History
BlackPanther OS is a free operating system. The development has started in 2003 on a Mandrake Linux base, nowadays it offers the most important features of several other distributions. The system itself is developed in Hungary, the main goal is to abolish the differences between Microsoft Windows and Linux-based systems. BlackPanther OS offers easy usage, stability and responsibility.
In 2010, blackPanther OS joined Open Invention Network as a licensee.
Package management
Packages The system offers a huge amount of packages and it is compatible with other distribution packages such as Mandriva or Fedora. The packagemanager is capable of handling external packages sources.
